Federal Bank: 1250th Branch Opened and Vijaya Bank: Opened New Branch in Visakhapatnam
1) Federal Bank Opens 1250th Branch:
One of the country’s largest private lenders, Federal Bank, recently opened its 1250th branch in Sasthamangalam. An on-site ATM was also released along with the bank.

2) New Branches of Vijaya Bank Opened in Visakhapatnam:
14 more branches are being opened
by Vijaya Bank in Vishakhapatnam within the ongoing financial year. The
branches are being opened in Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and
districts in Godavari. The five districts currently house 37 Vijaya Bank branches
and the five new branches will be opened in Vizag.
There was a growth in the total
income at Rs 3406.12 crore by 12.44% when compared to Rs 3029.34 crore for the
previous year’s corresponding quarter. Vijaya Bank offers various facilities
such as online banking and easy fund transfers using IFSC codes.
