Federal Bank Tops Twitter National Trend List

A digital marketing campaign is one of the most popular methods adopted by companies today in order to promote their products. Following the lead, is Federal Bank which has adopted a digital campaign to introduce its current innovation called the FedBook selfie, a mobile App for opening accounts, which is one of the first of its kind in the country. 

For the promotion of this App, Federal Bank has taken a digital approach while other banks continue to adhere to traditional methods of advertising. Due to the unique nature the App, digital promotional techniques is believed to be more suited to promote the FedBook Selfie.

Technological convenience is given priority as most customers use smartphones. A combination of Social media along with search is used to reach out to customers and there has also been efforts taken to generate interest through engaging conversations on social media. Also in association with influencers on Twitter, Federal bank has managed to generate a lot of visibility and engagement with the audience. 

The hashtags #FedBook Selfie and #FederalBankDIY is a part of the national trend list. The #FedBookSelfie was used to promote digital films which trended on the Twitter’s National Trend List for about 2 hours. The other hashtag was used for a contest that was Twitter based and trended on top of the National Trend list for almost 6 hours.

Federal Bank is one of the major banks in India, headquartered in Kochi and offers various services such as internet banking and quick fund transfers via IFSC codes.
